Dear Claudine and Francis, My heart just bleeds for you both as parents that have lost a son and in such a tragic way. I myself lost one of my sons to a gunshot 12 years ago. Words cannot express how much I feel for you both and the pain you are going through and will continue to have. I will pray every day for you and Ted's soul. I know he is in heaven and I hope he has met my son there. Ted was , to say the least, an exceptional person that was kind, sincere, caring and sweet. May the angels stay with you through this and forever. I am sure there is a new angel there now and I know Ted will watch out for you both from above and you will feel him and know that he is there helping you both to get through this the best you can. not only was he an amazing chef..but such a chipper and sincere person. i truly LOVED seeing ted at work. hed always have the most positive and upbeat "hello!' and "whats up!!!" and immediatly put you in a better mood. He will be greatly missed and much love to you, Garcias. Such a wonderful family.

I had the pleasure of knowing Ted through my friend Paul. While living in Durango, Francisco's was the place to be and I made fast friends with Ted. I had a great time spending time with him while working at the restaurant for a time, socializing, football pools, etc. He was always kind and gracious. A ture loss to the family and community.

May God give you strength through this difficult period.

Ted was a wonderful person and was a great boss to work with. He was always there to support you when you needed him and genuinely cared about how other people were feeling. He was always in a good mood and kept his spirits high when others around him were in doubt. His happy, energetic attitude reflected that of the Francisco workplace and I know that everyone saw Ted as the strong individual and great friend that he was. He will truly be missed. My heart goes out to the Garcia family and I wish them all strength and courage in these very rough times.
