Tia Veronica and Grandma Romero always addressed me as "hijito". I don't know if she or Grandma knew how loved they made me feel but,I believe they were so filled with love, they just naturally made everyone feel very special.
God toook special care when he brought Tia Veronica into this world and I believe he was very happy to welcome her home.

I believe Tia Veronica always knew of the fragility of life, and the precious love of family; two older brothers, Burt and Doniciano died in WWII, and two older sisters, Fedelina and Bernardita died in childbirth. I love you, Tia.

My beloved Tia Veronica was a gift from God with a bountiful vitality for life; I respected and admired her, she worked hard, never lost her sense of humor and she made me feel loved and good about myself.
